Even though Large, as the name highlights, is the largest building in the Place Houses range, anyone with a knowledge of the company's catalogue will realise that it bears a striking resemblance to the smallest product, Tiny. Many external features are the same, although internally the floor size is significant and measures at 2091 square feet in total. Following on from the above, one could create the following summary for Large:

What does Large look like externally?

The most obvious feature behind Large is the butterfly roof - with this being the issue that makes it so similar to Tiny. The middle of this roof is split by a chimney, with Large being the only product in the catalogue that benefits from its own fireplace.

Just like every other product that Place Houses are responsible for, Large doesn't exactly boast a large number of windows. Nevertheless, there are enough to provide a sufficient amount of natural light, while many potential buyers will like the fact that they arrive in all shapes and sizes with some being small and horizontal, while others will be large and tall.

Large differs from Medium, but is similar to Small and Tiny from a materials point of view as well. Wood panels are situated on the lower half of the property, with the upper region being transformed to a modern cladding material. Again, this provides the building with necessary character, in a policy that has proved successful with the other buildings.

What does Large look like from an internal point of view?

Internally, Large retains many of the principles which Place Houses have included in all of their other designs. The ground floor is very basic to say the least, with practically the whole level spun out in open plan form. A toilet and storage facility has also been included, but the rest of the floor is without any partitions and therefore extremely spacious.

In comparison to other products from the company, the first floor can only be described as being more spacious. Just like Medium, there are three bedrooms, with one of these being big enough to facilitate an en-suite bathroom as well as an opening to decking space. The other two bedrooms share bathrooms, while there are also storage rooms situated nearby which could be used as closets.

A summary on Large

Considering the vast size of Large when it is compared to other products in the Place Houses catalogue, many people were probably expecting it to be something more out of the ordinary. Instead, it seems to take features out of every different product of the company's series, with the floor plans and elevations bearing some resemblance to various other buildings. One of the more defining features is the fire place and when this is combined with the spacious, three bedroom and three bathroom elements, one can only describe Large as the ideal family home for a lot of people.
